This encaustic mixed media piece measures 6x12 inches. It features a church surrounded by oak trees and a community of houses. It  was created out of a longing for community during the pandemic. Within the painting are Bible pages, book pages, and hymns. Original encaustic artwork by Lisa Tarplee.
