Project 52-Week 30- A Different Perspective

A Different Perspective is our theme of the week for our group.  Often I find myself shooting in such a way as to try to capture a different perspective, to catch something in a way that might otherwise be overlooked.

In the following picture, the flowers (Queen Ann’s Lace) are the focal point, but the color detail is in the sky.  I shot this from below the flower pointing my lens upward in order to create a silhouette highlighting the intricate shape of the flower and the calming color of the sky.  While we usually look at flowers and marvel at their vibrance, here the viewer’s perspective shifts from color to form.

Different Perspectives create beauty

Now’s a great time to see thing from another’s perspective by venturing through our circle and seeing other’s takes on this theme! Start off with Jackie Peterson’s perspective!

Tifani - What a wonderful way to force a different perspective! I especially love that the flowers look amazingly tall. Without the color as a distraction, I can see the patterns in the flowers. They almost look like peacocks!
